[werkflow-user] Manipulating attributes in a <java:action> tag

All,

I hope someone could answer to this (simple?) question. Is it possible, and
if so, how do I access/set and manipulate for example an output variable
from with in a <java:action> tag by writing java code.

<java:action>
//code to access and manipulate variables
</java:action>

Anyone know how this is possible?
